Sam's POV

I watched with excitement as Lexi put on the necklace I got her.

She then walked outside, I followed close behind her as she walked towards the football field.

"Lexi!" I yelled out, as she jumped and looked back at me.

"What do you want?" She asked once I had caught up to her.

I needed to make something up...and fast.

"Uh...well my science teacher said I needed more help with understanding...things and that I needed a tutor" I said praying she would buy it.

She looked at me suspiciously.

"Umm ok and what do I have to do with this?" She asked clearly annoyed.

"Well I wanted you to be my tutor" I said scratching the back of my head.

It was silent for a moment, until she finally spoke.

"Ok fine" she said, as I wanted so badly to just hug her and kiss her.

But instead I just smiled.

"So you wanna come over to my house?" I asked, nervously but of course she didn't notice.

"Actually I'm going to Colt's place today"

"Oh...um how bout tomorrow?"

"Sure sounds ok" she said, while fixing the necklace around her neck.

I couldn't help myself from grinning.

"Nice necklace" I said, as she looked down at it.

"Yeah I know right I found it in my locker I think Colt put it there" she said, while blushing.

"Mmmm" I hummed, as she nodded her head.

Before I could say anything else, I heard Colt calling for Lexi.

"I'll see you tomorrow" she said to me, as I nodded my head.

My eyes followed her as she crossed the field and climes unit Colt's car.

Tomorrow things were going to change.
