Sometimes parents make your life amazing, and other times, they are the reason you don't want to live.
The girl no longer had her parents. Just the day before she woke up in this new reality, She remembered them being upset with her.
Nothing haunted her more than never getting to apologize. Some days you fight and argue with your parents- But the moment they disappear, You cry. It's actually funny.
A knock distracted her from her thoughts. She immediately got up while wiping the tears off her face.
It was Lee, as she called him. He was the ninth loric. His name, he did not know. But his cepan gave him the name Stanley.
He had an argument with Sandor, his cepan, or uncle as he had told her. Lately, they had been arguing a lot. He'd always come here after those arguments, and they'd talk it out.

"I don't get it. They say they love you and want what's best. But they don't care about your feelings."
He stands up.
"It's just not fair."
I nod.
"Sometimes they hurt you, and maybe sometimes they don't take your feelings into account. But they love you!" I say, trying to cheer him up.
"Yeah. They love you...right?" He says the last part mostly to himself, though I can relate.
He walks over to me and sits on my bed. "Maj, Can I ask you something?"
I nod. "Yes, anything."
He moves closer and takes hold of both my hands. "If I were to tell you something, would you hate me?" He asks. I can almost hear the pain in his voice.
"No. I could never hate you!" I reassure him.
He smiles and kisses my forehead.
