Meeting Smoking Bomb Hayato

The next day, Tsuna and Mia were graced with the presence of another Italian - this one more openly hostile than Hibari. The silver-haired Gokudera Hayato just oozed delinquent when he swaggered into class. He was good looking but had a mean glare that could have broken glass. Despite that, girls swooned at the sight of him while Mia tensed.

For an Italian, he had a very Japanese name. Asides from that, him showing up a day after Reborn did? Mia couldn't shake off the feeling that the new transfer student here was Mafia related. Mafia, just the word had her palms sweating.

Her shoulder rose like the hackles of a cat when Gokudera kicked Tsuna's desk over. She jumped out of her seat while their classmates laughed and helped Tsuna fix his desk. She didn't spare a single glance at the new kid, that eyed her critically.

When she went back to her desk, Gokudera took his right behind hers. Mia felt that she could do without having a hostile seating right behind her who could possibly be a Mafioso.

While the rest of the girls were fangirling over him during class, she grew more and more agitated while Tsuna fretted in his seat. Gokudera alternated with glaring daggers at Tsuna and her. She had just about had it when she was called to stand up during English where her teacher had her converse with him in English to show the class. She wasn't like Tsuna, who had the patience of a saint, and promptly snapped back at her teacher.

He always called on her during class, just to show off how good his English was when his pronunciation was like nails on chalkboard. She been way too polite before to say anything, not wanting to attract attention but with a antagonistic transfer student glaring at her and her best friend all morning, Reborn and the whole Mafia thing that she hasn't swallowed yet, her patience snapped.

She slipped easily enough to her American accent - talking with her father's co-workers we're a blessing - and waited for her teacher to begin first. Needless to say, it ended with her having to meet with the teacher after school for a brief talk on how it was wrong for her to lecture her teacher on his job. It was so totally worth it, she would say later on after Tsuna saved Gokudera.

After the racket of explosions, Mia quickly went to find the two boys and only managed to catch the part of Gokudera vowing his undying loyalty. Tsuna looked hilariously uncomfortable at the predicament he was in, especially since he was just in his underwear. Mia had a feeling it would come to this and brought him one of his jackets before they went to school. She cautiously approached the boys.

"Does this mean that we're good?" she announced loudly.

Gokudera jumped and quickly pulled out - were those real? - dynamite, and then lowered it when Tsuna gratefully took his jacket from her. Mia wearily eyed the bomber and he stared right back.
