Chapter 7

Billie pulled up to the coffee shop with her security right behind us as we got out. We walked into the doors and there wasn't really anyone there, just an old couple and A guy on his computer.

Billie asked me what I wanted and I said "uhh I had coffee with Conan this morning so I'm good" and she replied with "ok well I didn't really want anything either." And then we went and sat at one of the tables.

Once we sat down she said "So, I have a surprise as you know. And umm I already talked to my mom but we are like really good friends and uhh I was wondering if you wanna go on tour with me? Conan too" I sat there for a second and thought to myself good friends? Ok uhh it's probably nothing. I snap back into reality and Billie is just staring at me waiting for an answer.

I just stare back for a moment and finally say "Umm wow that's uhhh- I don't- didn't- umm I have to talk to Conan. I definitely wanna go but I have school... I mean this is senior year and same with Conan, but we'll have a talk." Billie glanced down at her phone after a buzz, she rolls her eyes at the phone and then says "yeah, ok that's fine, I have to get home tho. Fin needs help with something he's writing so I'll drop you off."

After Billie drops me off I stand at the doors of the apartment building while she drives off. After her car and the security cars are almost out of sight I walk into the building and into the elevator.

Once I get to my apartment Conan yells "Noah cmon me and ash are on ft" so I throw my shoes off and run into Conan's room. I haven't talked to ash I'm a while, I really miss her.

I see her face on Conan's computer and say "Ash oh my god I miss you so much!" Shes laughs and replies with " I miss you too but I have a surprise.. Conan for you too" Me and Conan both look at each other with a look of confusion on our faces. Ash pulls out a puppy, she starts laughing and says "it's ranger! He misses you guys" me and Conan roll our eyes and laugh and Conan says "totally not a surprise and I miss him" with a pouty look on his face.

After about an hour ash had to go so Conan closed his computer. I turned to Conan and said "okay so I have a question, and this is like serious time... ok?" He looked a little confused and said "umm ok"

"So today Billie asked me to go on tour with her and she wants you to go too. But you have to remember we have school. Billie said that me and her are good friends and I could go as emotional support and you as well."

"Oh my god yessss! We are definitely going, Didn't Maggie homeschool Billie? She can help right? I mean we could just do online classes."

"Yeah true, I don't want to be a bother to Maggie so we can just do online. I'll text billie."

"Ok but she said y'all were good friends? Oh god, you two need to talk this could be bad"

"Uhh yeah I guess"

I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch and texted Billie.

Hey can we talk please?

Billie :)
Yo what about

I'll be at ur house in 5

Billie :)
Uhh okay

I grabbed Conan's hoodie because it was sitting on the couch and my keys. "I'll be back in a few I'm going to Billie's" then walked out the door before conan could reply.

I was in my Jeep Wrangler listening to Tyler the Creator, one of my favorites when my phone buzzed repeatedly. I couldn't look at it ,of course so I just ignored it until I got to Billie's house.

When I got to Billie's house Fin was sitting on the front porch with a dog... I'm assuming that's Pepper. I park my car and get out "oh, hey Noah" says Fin smiling. I say "Hey, I'm here to talk to Billie." Fin smirks and says "go in, she's in her room." So I walk in, I don't know what it is but their house was just so calming.

I walk in and who I assume is Billie's mom cleaning up a few things, I say "Hey, I'm Noah, fin let me in... I'm friends with Billie we met in Australia and I need to talk to her... umm can you please show me where Billie's room is." She put the broom she was holding down and said "Well it's nice to meet you Noah, Her room is just right back there to the left sweetie." I smile and say "thanks"

I knock on Billie's door and say "Hey umm it's Noah" her music turns off and the door opens. Her room looked amazing, the lights were red and she had so many shoes. I walk in and shut the door while she sits down on the piano bench. She just looked at me and when I didn't say anything she started. "You can sit on my bed. Umm what did you wanna talk about?"

"Well umm when we kissed in Australia... it was-" Billie cut me off.

"Yeah about that, We haven't known each other long and I think we should wait. I mean we're really good friends and I don't wanna ruin that."

"Oh... yeah I completely understand actually. Umm it was a "in the moment" thing... right?"

"Noah please don't it's just too early and the moment just seemed right... I don't know we should-"

"No billie I get it" I say with a slight chuckle.

"A- are you sure? I'm sorry Noah."

"Billie it's fine I swear" I say standing up and hugging her. "But I should really get back to Cone because he keeps blowing up my phone with messages asking what's happening." Billie chuckles. "Gotta love him."

I walk outside and feel the fresh breeze. I just take a deep breath and step off the porch. What a ride this will be.

*Sorry this chapter is short but uhh I'll be updating a lot bc I'm on Christmas break lol. Anyways uhhhh yeah*
