 Clay POV

"RUN"

"What?"

"JUST RUN PLEASE!"

"Wait why? Who are you?'

I saw a door appear from out of nowhere it looked old and rusty. The woman who was just telling me to run opened it and shoved me through. 

I stumbled and fell to the ground as she shut the door behind me and it disappeared.

"That was...... interesting?" I said to myself looking around. the was a small cave and a bunch of trees surrounding me.

"HELLO?" I called out. No answer. What did you expect of course you would be out here alone.

I walked over to the small cave, it was a decent size but it was very dark and cold. Where am I? and how do I get out?

Sitting down I tried to explain to myself what just happened. Okay so there was a lady and she was telling you to run. But from what? Not sure. Then a door appeared and she pushed you through and then shut the door and it disappeared...... This tells me nothing. Maybe this is just some weird dream and I will wake up and be back home in my bed.

There was a gust of cold wind blowing into the cave and I shivered and decided that if I was really dreaming I could just go to sleep and then I will wake up in real life right?

I laid down on the cold stone floor and tried to get comfortable. I turned to the side then tried to curl up into a ball then tried to sleep on my stomach then my other side. nothing was working I couldn't sleep.

Well, maybe I should explore a bit. I thought to myself.

Leaving the cave I saw a bag laying on the ground next to some food and clothes and a note on top of it all. I decided to read the note first.

Congratulations! you have made it past the tutorial. You are now inside of the game the only way to leave is to kill the king without getting caught by his guards on the way to find him. you have three lives once all three lives are used up your body dies. We have gathered a small started pack for you it includes: a map of the land you spawned in, two extra pairs of cloths that our team designed to fit the character you described when you signed up, some food and water, matches, and the weapon that you chose while signing up.

Okay this is starting to get really weird but its really all just a dream right? I would remember if I signed up for anything. Right?

I took a look at the clothing it was a dark green cloak, a mask with a smile on it, black pants, what i'm guessing was a sword holder, a black jacket, and a white t-shirt.Okay strange outfit  but it will work since I don't plan to spend more then a couple of minutes in this dream before I wake up.

After looking through the rest of the stuff  I decided to make a fire in the cave and set up the sleeping bag so I could fall asleep just to wake up in the real world. 

I gathered some sticks and leaves and arranged them into a small tent looking thing and lit it with a match. The fire was nice and warm compared to the frigid weather outside.

finally after what seemed like an eternity I felt myself start to drift off to sleep.

snap.

I quickly sat up. 

"WHO'S THERE?" I yelled in fear. 

Step. step. step. step.

I grabbed the sword that I got in the starter pack and held it in front of me the fire was out at this point an I could see the early morning sun coming in through the entrance of the cave.

"I HAVE A SWORD AND I'M NOT AFRAID TO USE IT" 

stepstepstepstepstep.

I raised the sword a bit more and started to stand up.

"Hello?" said a strange voice coming from the entrance of the cave.

I lowered my sword a bit.

"What do you want?" I said still keeping my guard up.

"h̷e̶l̷l̷o̴?̸" the voice said again.

I walked towards the entrance gripping the sword tightly.

"Hello?" I asked cautiously.

"ẖ̷̨̮̊̿͝e̶̗̙͔͕͛͑͒̐l̵̻̗͙̩͂̾l̴̛̬͔͙̅̽̂o̶̥̊́̐̚ ̶͎̅̍̈́̕b̴̗̟͋̎ǫ̸̜̱̇y̸̗̓̅" the voice said as I turned the corner to face a large dog looking thing.

I froze. the thing started to run at me. I tried to move out of the way but I couldn't nothing was working. It pounced on me. My head hit the cold hard stone at the entrance of the cave I felt something warm start to trickle down from the back of my head where it had hit the ground. I felt the world around me start to spin my head hurt like hell I tried to get the thing off of me but it ripped into my stomach. I started to gasp for air as it continued to rip through my organs.

Everything went black.

"⸮mɒɿɘᗡ" 

"⸮mɒɿɘᗡ"

"!qu ɘɒʞw mɒɿɘᗡ"

I opened my eyes in a start. I could feel cold sweat dripping all down my body. my breath was uneven and I could feel myself shaking uncontrollably.

"Hey are you okay?" my friend Bad asked from beside me. We had set up camp in the middle of an abandoned wheat field.

"U-um yeAh" I said trying to calm down.

"Did you have another nightmare?" George asked from the other side of Bad. 

"y-yes" my voice was very shaky I could feel myself begin to cry.

"Hey, hey, hey it's okay don't cry your okay we are right here" Nick told me pulling me into a hug.

"what's going on? they didn't find us did they?" Skeppy said sitting up.

"Dream just had another nightmare you can go back to sleep Skeppy" Bad whispered to him.

"Oh do you need a hug Dream?" He asked concern in his voice.

"y-es p-pl-ease" Skeppy joined Sapnap and hugged me too.

"Group hug!" George said as he and Bad joined in.

We sat there for a few minutes while I calmed down.

"do you want us to tell us what it was about?" Bad asked pulling away from the hug.

"It was just the one reoccurring one with the dog thing and the door that the lady pushed me through" I told him.

"hey do you think that maybe when we lose a life we forget what happened? because the first time you had the dream you said there was a note and when you enter the game you were supposed to get the note." George asked still hugging me.

"I've been thinking about that and you are probably right it doesn't tell us how many life we have left so I probably already lost one life."

"That sucks. Well at least we have on another so we can make sure no one loses any more lives okay?" He said being the last to let go of me.

"Yeah" we all said in agreement.
