"Why would you do this?" Daniel gasped.
"Get out of here," his boss replied.
Daniel reluctantly walked out of the building. He sulks to the bottom of the stairs and walks out on to the busy street of New York. He has a main character moment as he watches the people walk by him, completely unaware of the event that just took place. He makes his way home, wanting to get away from everyone.
A block away from his house, a man walks up to him, "are you dating Jennifer Lopez?" he asks.
With a large sigh, "yes, and I will not answer anything else," he firmly states. However, the man continues to bombard him with questions. He runs the rest of the way home and storms into his house.
"What's the aggression for?" Jennifer asks, whisking something in a bowl, "Oh honey, are you okay?" she quickly changes moods as she notices Daniel's disheveled appearance.
"Yeah, babe, I have just been harassed for questions about you again," he answers and looks away, scratching the back of his neck.
"But that's not it, is it?" she inquires. Daniel shakes his head and looks at the ground.
"I just got fired," his voice cracks.
"Oh honey, I'm so sorry," Jennifer brings her lover into her arms and holds him tight. They stand in the hallway for a few minutes before Jennifer breaks the embrace. "I'm so sorry to do this now, but I have Gorden Ramsey coming over for a collab on my Youtube channel," Jennifer shyly informs Daniel.
"Yeah, okay, no problem," Daniel shakes her hold off and sniffs. He goes up to change and comes back down with all his things. "I'll go to the coffee shop down the street. Call me when you're free," he hurriedly makes his way out of the house, ignoring her shouts to him.

Arqum rides the elevator to his floor after his successful meeting. 'Today is a good day,' he thinks to himself. The elevator stops at his floor, and he briskly walks out.
"Hello, my beautiful ladies," Arqum greets his receptionists.
"Hello, Aquarium!" Makayla and Sofia cheerily greet their boss. "Guess what?" Makayla asks.
"What?" Arqum says, curious.
"Kim Jong Un just called, and he says he loves your product so much that he wants you to expand to China!" Sofia exclaims.
"Japan," Makayla corrects.
"North Korea, you dumbasses, but holy shit! Are you guys serious?" he asks excitedly.
"Yes! So, you need more people here to help with the expansion," Makayla explains.
"For sure. Anyway, I'm heading out for lunch. Anything I need to do before I go?" Arqum asks.
"Nope, you're good," Sofia says.
"Great, catch you sexy's later," Arqum winks and walks back to the elevator. He greets everyone with a smile as he makes his way to the front doors into the breezy, spring day. Feeling good today, Arqum decides to try the coffee shop his friends have been suggesting he try for a while now.
Opening the glass doors into the petite café, Arqum inhales a big breath of content. He loves the sight of people in their own worlds. The rush of the shop makes him feel happy. Knowing other people have busy lives makes him more motivated to continue working hard in his own life.
Arqum orders a black coffee and the shop's signature scone. After paying and collecting his order, he makes his way to the seating area to find a table. He scans the room for an empty spot and notices a man with familiar brown locks. He takes a step closer without being noticed, a glister of hope in his eyes. He recognizes the man's face and begins to walk towards him. He gets closer, and the man looks up. It's Daniel.
