I Hope You Change, Boys

Dear boys,

I know you expect us to be 'girly-girls' and Barbies, but trust me, not everyone is. I'm a proud GIRL, and I AIN'T A BARBIE! For all girls, we aren't Barbies are we? So don't treat us like it? Don't throw us on the floor and credit our  talent as "Good for a girl," just like you would for a Barbie.

Don't view us as different in a bad way. Girls are called 'dumb,' if they ask questions. Boys are called 'curious,' and 'intellectually interested,' if they do. That's just one example. I ain't gonna put swear words in this chapter because there are worse examples. But you better change. That's my message here.

I hope you change your opinions, your 'smart,' opinions for good, boys.

Thanks.

Love,

Sunny
