"Ok, Melody. It's now or never," she said, before anxiously going on stage.

After 2 hours on stage

"And the last song I will be performing today will be a new song I've been working on for a while now. It will be the first time performing it and you are the first ones' to hear." The crowd started screaming. "It's called Fake Love."

For you, I could pretend I was happy when I was sad

For you, I could pretend I was strong when I was hurt

I wish love was perfect as love itself, I wish all my weaknesses could be hidden

I grew a flower that can't be bloomed in a dream that can't come true

I'm so sick of this fake love, fake love, fake love

I'm so sorry but it's fake love, fake love, fake love

She was performing, tears filling up her eyes, remembering who she wrote this song to.

The stadium lit up with light bombs, as fans tried to hum to the song, she was performing for them. They were happy to know, that they were the first ones to hear it.

"Thank you so much, ARMY," she screamed and exited the stage.

She felt relieved, knowing she can finally relax. Sure she loved performing, but there were so many eyes and cameras on her the whole time, and everybody knew - one wrong move and you can destroy your career.

"You were amazing out there," Jimin said immediately after she got off the stage "But why didn't you tell us you wrote a new song?"

"First off – thank you. Second, I'll tell you when we get back home."

"Your place?" Jimin asked.

"If you're okay with that, yes. Oh, and message Taehyung to meet us there."

"On it," he said, already texting the boy, Melody mentioned.

--

"No way?!" Taehyung said, laughing hysterically.

They were finally alone and could talk freely, not worrying if what they said would be recorded by someone, and used against them. They had been talking for hours at that point, never running out of subjects to talk about.

They were sitting on the floor, in the huge apartment, drinking, laughing, talking, and having a good time, just being with one another.

"Yes way," Jimin replied, looking at Melody with soft eyes "Oh, yeah, I forgot. Taehyung, guess what?"

Taehyung hummed in response while taking a shot of soju.

"Mel wrote a new song and performed it tonight. Yeah, mhm, she didn't even tell us!" Jimin yelled, being fake mad at her.

"Well I don't exactly have to tell you everything but yes, I've been working on it since...well you know-" She was cut off "The breakup," Taehyung answered for her. The girl hummed in response.

"All he ever did was use you, why can't you see that?" Jimin asked softly. "Not everyone you lose is a loss."

"I know but he's the only one I have ever truly loved, even if it was fake for him, it wasn't for me." She replied. "Well it's turning depressing now, so, let's take a shot of soju and leave this topic," She said with a tight smile.

She didn't want to talk about it anymore, since it wasn't a pleasant theme for her, not to mention, she was done being sad about him.

"Ok, then cheers!" Jimin said, not wanting to make the girl more uncomfortable than she already was.

"Ohhh, have you heard the legend, about the old town's statue?" Jimin asked intrigued, wanting to change the subject.

"No, what about it?" She asked, confused.

"What about you, Taehyungie?"

"Nah, haven't heard of it either." He said, taking another shot.

"Well, a journalist made up a legend, about the old town's statue, to get more tourists. It states, that when the soulmate of the statue, holds his hand, it will come alive or some shit," He said lightly laughing.

"That's such bullcrap. Who would believe that?" Melody asked, actually curious.

It wasn't that she didn't believe in mythical beings...no that was exactly the case. She didn't believe in ghosts, or gods, or spirits, none of that shit.

"I don't know," Tae confessed. "I personally like the idea, that someone, somewhere, is made for you, forever."

"Ahh, well I guess that does sound nice, but creating a whole story just to get tourists? How would that even work?" She mumbled. Her eyes were closing slightly, but she tried her hardest to stay awake.

"What do you mean?" Jimin curiously asked.

"Like how would that bring more tourists." She repeated sloppily.

"Well, now tourists will want to come to the statue to take a picture with him, holding his hand," Jimin suggested.

"Oh, yes, that makes sense now. I am probably just tired to not realize something this obvious," She murmured and lightly laughed.

" I think we should go now," Tae said giggling, looking at Melody. "You know, you're really cute when you're tired," He teased.

"No, I am not and wanna stay here for the night?" She offered, a bit annoyed at the compliment.

"Oh, come on. Yes, you surely are and I think we will get going. It isn't that late yet, but thank you for the offer" Tae said, smiling at her.

"Well okay, at least I offered," She continued "but I really am not cute. I am hot, Taehyung. There's a difference. So, if you call me cute one more time, I swear to god I will punch y-"

"Okay, okay, we are going now," Jimin giggled, seeing you two tease each other.

"Wait-" she asked, standing up as to not forget "- which statue again?"

"The God Kim Seokjin one. Why, you wanna hold his hand?" Jimin teased wiggling his eyebrows.

"I don't know. Maybe," She answered, whispering as if she was telling a secret.

She then bursted out laughing.

Hello, this is the writer. I am so excited to be writing a book. Finallyyyy. I have been thinking about it for so long and it is finally happening. Sorry for the mistakes, since English isn't my native language, so if you see mistakes, please tell me and I will try to fix them. Don't be scared of commenting what you think, and yes, I hope someone will read it, although it isn't very likely. Welp, be exited, I have cool things planned. Oh, and you can imagine yourself in Melody's shoes if you want, I just didn't want to write a Y/N ff, but if you want you can replace Melody's name with yours.

Thank you for reading this chapter.
