P.O.V third-person George.

"And here, we have a new student. Everyone welcome them and be nice."  The teacher gestured for me to come into the classroom by nodding her head at me. And so I walk.

As soon as I walked through the door, eyes whipped onto me. The expression on everyone's faces, mainly girls, seemed satisfied with a Damn-he's-cute look, yet confused at the same time.

The unwanted attention made my heart skip, as an uneasy feeling crept up in my stomach. My hands started to sweat, so I try to rub them on my shirt by wrinkling them in my hands, but they continued secreting anyway.

 ' I'm gonna mess up, I'm too nervous ' I thought.

" Introduce yourself, honey." The teacher made the feeling worse, exposing me in the spotlight, my chest heaves up and down in nervousness. Even the kids who were asleep woke up just to see and hear my introduction.

"I'm George Davidson.." I somehow pull off a solid voice despite the many times where I had voice cracks during presentations. But it didn't go unrecognized.

" Thank you, George. You sounded nice, but you looked like you were getting interrogated by the police. Choose a seat sweetie." She gave a small laugh, trying to assure me.

I look at her, then look back at my classmates. It didn't seem like anyone cared anyway. plus the girls seemed so distracted by my face. so it was okay I think. I bite my bottom lip, getting across desks, and on my way, I bump into someone's desk hearing something fall.

" Hey..." The blonde said.

" Oh, sorry." I bend over to pick up his notebook and lay it on his desk. I continue walking but-

" Did I tell you to pick it up? I just said hey. That doesn't mean anything." His attitude was noticeably mean as his eyes were focused on his phone playing a game which accentuated his non-caring manner.

"Well, uh, no. but it did fall. and... it is yours..and uh, I did make it fall over so.." I responded. ' It's my first day and someone is already acting rudely towards me. Not surprised.'

" Uh, okay? uh, but I didn't uh, say pick it up, uh..." He stated. mocking me, continuing his loud game. He looked so lifeless... As if something greatly bad happened to him on this day.

" Hey, leave him alone clay! or else..." The teacher shouted.

Clay huffed as if he was a little kid that didn't get what he wanted in a store. My eyes traced back to two open seats. The one behind the blonde and one next to the window in the back.

If I chose the seat behind that blonde kid, I'd be stupid. So certainly my last choice is the one in the last row next to the window.

I arrange my textbooks and binder down on the desk, and as I look up, I catch clay's glare at me.

If only I could see in the future what our collision meant that day.
