"Why am I even here. I'm so irrelevant. I've tried and tried and tried...all I do is make people frustrated and annoyed. Christmas is coming up and I'm gonna have to spend it alone." You told yourself as you were driving home at night. You went to go visit your sister to try and cheer yourself up, but honestly it didn't help at all. Yes, it was great to see her, but nothing was gonna cheer you up at that point.
As you were driving, Lauren, your best friend, pops into your head.
It's been a month since you and her talked after the big fight you had, and since then you've been dying inside.
"I bet she doesn't even miss me"
You shake your head as you try to get the thought out.
You sighed loudly as you look ahead and see a bridge.
"Should I?" You say. "No one would even miss me. All I do is make life harder for everyone, including me."
You pull over and think. For about half an hour you just sat there and thought. Over all the good things, and the bad things, and all the fights, all the memories. You step out of your car and walk up to the bridge.
You saw the gleam in the water, heard all the quiet swishes of the water. You looked around to see if anyone was there. No one, it was dead quiet.
{Lauren's POV}
I was driving to the store to go get some milk when I see a person standing at the bridge. "Maybe she's just looking at the water."
I pull over and watch her just to make sure. I see her looking around. wait- "IS THAT Y/N?!"
{Y/N'S POV}
I startes bawling. I climbed over the bridge and started counting down from ten. "10...9..." I then hear footsteps.
"Oh no not right now"
Someone grabs my hand and pulls me over. I open my eyes to see Lauren.
"Y/N!! What are you doing?! Were you about to JUMP??"
I look at her, dead in the eyes. "You don't need me Lauren. All I do is make your life worse. I deserve to die-"
She pulls me into a hug.
"Y/N, you can't leave me, you've been the love of my life since we were 16, I need you."
She pulls me up and pulls me in for a kiss. She goes in, but leaving space for me to decline. Of course I fill in the space. I grab her by the waist and bring her body closer to me.
"Never leave me" Lauren says.
