My stomach was in knots. The line moved slowly but precisely. then finally it was my turn, I walk up the stairs....my gown hitting the floor as I walk and of course I'm terrified I'll trip and sure enough as I allow my self to think this it happens.
Oh god! Of course this would happen to me.
The crowd cheers and I hear all my friends yell, "you go Lily!" I just laugh and walk up to the podium to greet the principal.
"That was quite an entrance." He smiles at me and shakes my hand as he hands me my diploma.
"Thanks that's kinda my specialty." As I walk down the stairs and off the stage I'm very carful and take my time on each and every step. I go and take my seat next to one of my best friends Sydney.
"Not a word, Sydney, not a word." I sigh and put my head in my lap.
"Awww I didn't say anything." she laughs and I playfully punch her. All I can think about now is collage and oh yeah the rest of my life.
