"I can't believe I'm going to play my first volleyball match! Crap, I'm so nervous!" Shoyo said, with his head in his hands.

"Calm down, Hinata. If you're nervous, can you imagine how much we are?" asked Koji.

Today is the first volleyball match of your best friend, Hinata Shoyo. Since he saw the Tiny Giant at the Nationals on the tv, he wanted to play volleyball every second of his life. You practiced with him very hard for this game, and he was pretty nervous for this moment.

"(Y/N), you will be there for cheering us, right?" Hinata asked you with pity eyes.

"Of course I will be there, little tangerine" you replied with a friendly punch on his head.

"Maybe I should not play this game. Maybe I'm not ready enough. I'm too small for this sport" he said with a sob in his voice.

You looked at him. All the team was looking at him. You knew that Hinata was always insecure about his height, and he was always doubting his talents because of this. You couldn't let that happening.

"Hey hey hey Shoyo look at me" you said while you putted you hands on his shoulders.

He looked at you, with tears at the corner of his eyes.

"We did not practice that much for not using it, and where is the energetic, optimist and happy Shoyo that I know? The one who never gives up without trying?" you asked, with pride in your eyes.

His face changed immediately. The sad eyes changed in brave and strong eyes, those who can confront anything.

"Yes, she's right, Hinata. Your height doesn't matter at all" Izumi said.

"You can trust us for support you" Koji added.

All the rest team agreed, and Shoyo looked at them with gratitude, and hugged you with force, so much that you had difficulties to breath.

"Can you move, kids? You're on the way" said someone behind you.

Hinata looked up, and his expression switched for a scared face. You looked behind you too and saw a bunch of guys with the one who talked in front of the others. He had black and straight hair and was really tall if you compare with your bestfriend. Hinata took your arm like a shield and you felt that he was shaking. Suddenly, you were angry against this guy. He took away all the courage that you gave to Hinata. You had to do something. Without thinking twice, you decided to confront him.

"This gymnasium is huge, you can move by your own" you said while you were crossing your arms on your chest.

Everyone was surprise, even Hinata. You looked directly in the tall boy's eyes to show him that you were not intimidated.

"Jeez, stop acting like a child and just move" he said while he rolled his eyes.

"I'm sorry your majesty, did I hurt your feelings?" you asked with a pity face.

"(L/N), it's ok. You don't need to-" started Izumi, but you stopped him with your hand.

"Don't call me like that" the tall guy said.

"And how you want me to call you then?"

"Kageyama"

Kageyama. You already heard this name somewhere, but you can't remember. Yes! You remember. Hinata didn't stop talking about the famous King of the Court, Kageyama. You hated to admit it, but you thought that this name was cool, and you finally understand why people called him like that.
