~Two weeks ago~
Freddy and Jason were sat in the living room, the sounds of the screams of their victims playing softly in the background.
It was a lazy day for them, a day taken off from killing. It allowed them to relax and spend time together in each other's company this mostly involved the couple dozing on the sofa in each others arms.
Freddy and Jason had been together for a few years now, ironically they made it official on Friday the 13th because it was Jason's turn to be a pretentious asshole. This year would be their 3rd anniversary and Jason wanted to make it a memorable one. He wanted both him and Freddy to remember this anniversary for the rest of their years together. Jason smiled at the thought and felt Freddy shift on his chest to make himself more comfortable.
Jason's smile grew wider and gently nudged Freddy to rouse him from his slumber. Freddy looked up at Jason with a questioning expression, eyes expressing his confusion further. Jason looked at the smaller man with a great fondness and sat up as much as he could with Freddy's body seemingly wrapped around him.

"I've got something I need to give you" Jason said, staring into Freddy's eyes. Freddy's face scrunched up with further confusion.
"What do you mean?" He asked as Jason leaned back and reached his arm behind the arm of the sofa to grab an envelope and looked back at Freddy, fiddling the card between his fingers. Jason grinned at Freddy and handed him the closed envelope.
Freddy was even more confused as he opened the envelope to an anniversary card.
"Jason, it's not our anniversary for at least two more weeks...What is this?"
Two slips of paper fell out the card as Freddy opened it.   Money...?   Freddy thought questioning what Jason was up to. He leaned down to pick it up from the floor, painfully aware of Jason's eyes watching his movements.
"Consider it an early anniversary gift..." Jason said staring at Freddy as he picked up the two slips of paper from the floor and turned them over to read what they said. Freddy's actions felt like they took forever as Jason watched with anticipation.
Freddy read the notes and looked up at Jason astonished and with wide eyes. Jason's smile grew wider as he saw Freddy's expression and he nodded at Freddy as confirmation. Freddy smiled at Jason and lunged forwards to lock lips with him. Both were grinning and held each other in their embrace.

~Time skip to the present/anniversary brought to you by the power of chapter two of this book~

Today was the day. Today was Freddy and Jason's anniversary.
Jason was nervous for today.
(Now, you may be wondering why a serial killer would be nervous well, I can't answer that but what I can give you is what happened next.)
But although Jason was nervous, he couldn't help being happy at the sight of how ecstatic Freddy was. The present that Jason got Freddy two weeks ago, you may be wondering, was tickets to the Ratatouille Musical.
Jason had known that Freddy had always loved theatre and the film Ratatouille so when he had heard about it, he knew it would be the perfect opportunity to make this anniversary the most memorable one yet.
Jason looked in the mirror and adjusted his collar and walked over to Freddy. Wrapping his arms around Freddy's waist, Jason rested his head on Freddy's shoulder,
"Are you ready to go?" Jason asked
Freddy nodded feverishly and looked at Jason happily. Jason smiled at this and stood up straight (which he was not) and grabbed Freddy's hand
"Let's go then"

When they arrived, Freddy's excitement grew as they walked into the venue. Freddy almost begged Jason for popcorn but had realised Jason had already got them a box to share. He smiled up at Jason wondering how he got such a wonderful partner. The pair walked into the theatre together, ignoring the weird looks they got (because they're both serial killers and one is a burnt bitch)
They sat down in their assigned seats and Freddy leaned on Jason's shoulder as the show began.

~Le time skip brought to you by Freddy's ego~

The performance ended and the theatre was filled with loud applause as the actors took their final bows. Jason glanced over at Freddy who was on his feet applauding with the biggest smile on his face. The sight made Jason grin and he became nervous, butterflies in his stomach. This is it, it's time

They walked out the theatre, hand in hand. Freddy was rambling about the show and his favourite parts which Jason was half listening to. Freddy was stopped by Jason when they were on the steps outside the theatre.
Jason was sweating, he was that nervous. He exhaled and looked Freddy in the eyes.
"Freddy," he said "I knew you were the slasher for me the minute we made eye contact that day we fought each other. I love you, Freddy Kruger. So would you..."
Jason sunk down to one knee and reached into his pockets. Freddy put his hands over his mouth with a gasp.

Jason pulled out a box and opened it, a sparking wedding ring inside.

"Would you be the rat of all my dreams?"

Freddy nodded and tried not to cry infringe of the crowd that had formed, applause and cheers coming from the strangers as Jason slipped the ring into Freddy's outstretched hand.
Jason stood up and embraced Freddy. Freddy looked up at Jason his eyes filled with tears of happiness. Jason smiled at Freddy and leaned down to meet Freddy's lips in a kiss, both males hearts filled with happiness and beating rapidly.

Jason had succeeded in his mission...
Today was the most memorable anniversary they'd have.
