Chapter.5

Natalies POV:

" Lauren what happened?!" I ask.
" Nothing its just..." lauren slowly looks up to where Shawn is sitting, " I just can't take it anymore!" Lauren says in a shaky voice and runs out the class crying. Melanie runs after her, so do I, but as I run out I look at Shawn one last time, who's slouching over his desk looking worried.

*******************************************************"Lauren runs into the girls bathroom (duhh) and Melanie and I go in after her. " It's okay babe, you have to understand guys can be assholes at times, they say they love you but they end up hurting you"
" but it's not Shawn that's an asshole, I am, I used him and now he knows and now he'll never like me!"
" What's going on in here?!" Jessica, a friend of Laur's asks as she walks in. " and what is the new girl doing in here?" I don't know Jessica as much as I know the others but so far I do know that she is an ignorant one.
" Nothing Jessica everythings oka-" " everythings okay?," Jessica says interrupting Melanie, "you think I don't know what's going on? I know exactly why Shawn dumped Lauren. It's because of her, the new girl.He likes her, not you Lauren. I saw everything they did after school, they were all over eachother. Stupid hoe. It's all her fault!" (Bruh)

Lauren looks at me, her red watery eyes giving me a dirty and disgusted look. "Why would you do such a thing Natalie? I thought you were a sweet girl, but I guess I was wrong, you're a user Natalie!" "I didn't do anything with Shawn, you can even ask hi-" "ask him what Natalie? That "oh hey shawn I heard you were making out with Natalie and you broke up with me because you like her now"? You think he'll admit to that?!" She has a good point and I run out of things to say. "Lauren I promise I did nothing with him I-" "JUST LEAVE NATALIE!" Lauren screams at me. Her face is now all red and water is pouring down her eyes, Melanie is trying to calm her down and Jessica looks at me and gives me an evil smirk.

I run out the bathroom, tears rolling down my face, I walk in our class and everyone is staring at me.
"What's wrong? You're scared of the new school? You want your mommy?" A guy teases from the back of the class.- Chris, a guy Jessica hangs out with all the time. Im assuming that's her boyfriend.- Everyone laughs at his joke, except one, Shawn. I excuse myself and take my bag and walk out. I tell the teacher I feel sick and that I needed to go home.

This must all be set up I think to myself. Maybe Jessica has something against me, but what was it? I wasn't pretty like her nor did I have a hot boyfriend nor was I a popular girl at school. I didn't know. As I walked home I could hear footsteps behined me. Oh god! I thought. What more could happen to me? I didn't look back and pretended not to hear anything. Slowly I walk faster and faster, and those footsteps behined me starts to get faster. I keep thinking the person might be my father, trying to get me and kill me. But it couldn't be. He wouldn't know where we are. Who was it?

The footsteps stop following me as I get closer to my house, and I quickly take the keys out, open the door and slam it behind me, leaning my back against the door. My breathing is heavy now. All the bad thoughts in my head start coming in. Slowly my vision starts getting blurry, and I can't breath. I try screaming but my throat is dry. Nobody was home. Somebody was following me. I was in trouble.
