I couldn't sleep at all last night. It was a mixture of the events yesterday, and my little siblings.
Thoughts were swirling through my head all night, just as the voices were telling me things. Pointing out my flaws.
...Did he actually kill her? Was that all in my head?
Before everyone else woke up, I had to escape the house. As usual, I went towards the forest. It was still fairly early in the morning, and nobody was usually up at this time.
As I went upstairs, I tried so hard not to wake up my little brother. I made that mistake a few times, and it didn't end well. Once I got upstairs, I had to be even quieter.
My father doesn't really acknowledge me, but when they do... It's not very fun.
Eventually I finally made it out of the house. I had to walk a few blocks, but I got there. There was a wall bordering the school made of pure stone, and it kind of.. surrounds the forest? Except once the border reaches the forest, it stops and then turns into fencing.
I sat by the wall, just staring at the sky for a few minutes. After that, I began dozing off.
A few hours later, I woke up in daylight to two people talking. Both voices of which I remember.
I then got up, just to make sure I was correct. I was.
For the next few minutes, I was debating whether or not to go talk to them. I had little to no courage to do so, but with the very little courage I have, I began walking towards them.
Aria looked happy and sad at the same time, while Vance had a stone face.
"Hey, guys.." I said, with a nervous laugh.
"Hello!" Aria said, suddenly somewhat with a burst of hope, at least that's what it seemed like.
Vance stayed silent.
"Would you guys maybe like uh- Wanna hang out... or something?" I said, with a sudden fear.
"Of course." Aria said.
All Vance did was look at me, and then sighed. "Sure. I guess."
I felt a little bit excited, and somewhat happy.
"Maybe we could get uh.. some, uhm, ice cream..? I'll pay for it, free food for you guys, you know..?" I said.
"I'm down! What about you, Vance..?" Aria said, she said that excitedly, but I could tell she was sad.
He finally answered Aria and said, "Eh. Okay. Whatever."
You could tell she was getting excited, anyone could. Vance had a smile growing on his face, but it was fake. Aria tried not to look that direction, because she would get sad. For sure.
We began to walk to the ice cream shop in town, and started talking. I've only talked to both Aria and Vance once before this, and they were both panicking and angry.
I've seen them in their darkest moments. Okay, maybe not. But what seems like their darkest moments.
I noticed something about Vance.
His eyes were red when he was having his panic of anger.
Anyways, eventually we made it to the ice cream shop and ordered. Once we got our ice cream and sat down at a table, there was something that I noticed.
Their necklaces.
"Hey... uh, what's up with your uhm.. necklaces..?" I said.
Aria then looked down at her necklace, and smiled. Vance looked at Aria.
"Oh..! They're friendship necklaces. We've had them ever since we were kids." Aria then explained.
"They're lockets. We have a picture of each other in each necklace. And then in the other side of it, we have pictures of us together. Two different pictures." Vance said.
"Oh- that's cool. I don't have friends so you know.."
Engraved on the front of the lockets, said 'best' and 'friends.'
We were there for about 30 minutes, and then we went to the park. Not like a playground, more like a scenery. When we got there, we sat at a picnic table near the fountain mid-park. We started talking, and then were just talking for hours.
At around 7, when it was just getting dark, Aria asked me something.
"Hey, Cory?" She asked.
"Uh.. yeah?" I said back to her.
"Would you like to stay with us for the night? You can sleep in my brother's room. He doesn't live there anymore." She completed her question, and my eyes lit up.
"I- uh- well- uhm.. sure..?" I said, nervously, hiding the excitement that's flowing through my body.
Vance didn't say anything about it. He wasn't phased, and eventually we left the park and went to Aria and Vance's house.
When we got there and went inside, Aria showed me around. Once we got to her brother's room, who apparently goes by the name Archer, I was amazed.
The room wasn't that big, but it was perfectly set up. The walls were a light gray with a white carpet, and the bed was in the right-hand side corner of the room. Next to it, was a desk and closet. On the other side was two bookshelves and a chair.
Once Aria left the room, I did what anyone else would do. I looked through Archer's things.
My mind was blown. I then was drawn over to a picture frame with a picture in it that seems fairly recent, and my brain immediately said, he's kinda hot though.
After I was done snooping through his things, I was getting tired and went to sleep.
I had a dream that night.

Hello again! This chapter is in the POV of my friend's character, Cory. The main plot of this was having Aria, Vance, and Cory become friends. And I know this is a paranormal story, but the next few chapters should go more with the initial storyline I have planned out in my head.
Anyways, the credit for this story goes to my friend who made this character, and the traits and all that! She/he did really good and I'm proud of him/her. :D
