Maya is ariel in her role play thing at disney.

Śhe is obsessed with reading and learning new things ( ironic,) which she is often playfully teased for by her friends.

She loves the band the civil wars and 5 seconds of summer because why not?

And when she was younger was teased for her hair.

Her family life is a bit complicated, her father is in jail for hurting her mother and her mother is barely ever home.
