Rules for Participants

I'm guessing that the people who read this are thinking about participating! Please read the rules carefully - I won't be explaining things in the comments that can be answered by reading these rules.

If I send you a message and I don't get a reply within 2 days or 48 hours - I'm sorry but your book will be disqualified if there are a lot of other ones applying.

Rules for Participants

1. You must follow the host's account  - this one @/kth__armyy (wattpad doesn't let me tag myself here for some reason - it's just the account that this book is under)

For the time being, every participant needs to follow it. If you happen to be a winner, you must permanently follow me, otherwise your book will be deleted from this award show. I put in a lot of work, I kind of see this as "repayment" :)

2. Your book must be in English - this one probably is self explanatory.

3. Books with up to 1M reads are accepted.

4. Your book must have at least 7000 words - this is NOT negotiable. It is just hard to compare a two chapter story to one with over 20 chapters. (Short Stories and Smuts don't have to have 7000 words!)

5. If your book has more than 7,000 words, the maximum of words that will be judged are 17,000. (17,000 words are approximately 34-35 pages of a word document, to put it in perspecitve - so it is still a lot). If your book has more than 7,000 words but less than 17,000, your whole book will be judged.

Some further explanation on point 5, as I want to make clear why I made this decision: Some awards say that judges should read the whole story. While I think that this is good for fair judging, it is simply too much work if all stories have a lot of chapters. I want the judges to take their time with judging and not rush through it because they have a large amount to read. Because of that, there will be a word limit - judges will only read until there. That way, the same amount of words will be judged of each book.

6. The forms must be filled correctly and if the host asks you to redo it or change something, please listen. Forms that aren't correct and where the user doesn't respond to me, will not be accepted.

7. Your password is the first two letters of your bias' name and the first two letters of your favorite bts song - for example: bias = yoongi, favorite song = life goes on || password = yoli

(Sorry that it is kind of complicated, I just don't want participants to copy whatever they see in the comments before theirs - everyone should read the rules)

8. Participants must not bribe the judges, it is forbidden and results in exemption of your book.

9. Add this book to your public reading list to make sure that you are notified whenever there is an update. Make sure to check the book from time to time to see if I mention you or such.

10. Give this book a shout out on your page! It is important that we get a lot of participants and judges.

11. Participants are required to follow their judges permanently. They put in a lot of effort for you!

12. You can be a judge, just not in the category that you submitted your book in.

13. You can participate with three books max - this gives more authors a chance of participating.

14. One book per category.

15. No BTS x other groups. (girl and boy) Personally, I don't have a problem with it, I just know that some judges might not like it, so we'll leave it out from the beginning.

16. No member x member. I am really supportive of the LGBTQ+ community and this has nothing to do with that. I just know that the members don't like to be shipped and so I'm trying to be respectful towards them with this decision. I'm sorry if some of you were maybe looking forward to apply with your book - just know that it's nothing personal!:) There are some awards where I'm sure you can enter though.

17. If you find your book in the official participants list - please do NOT change your cover, description and don't change the chapters. If you are to change your username, please inform me about it.
