Cynthia danced with the crowd at Jenkins Club. With a side glanced she immediately sought out her targets. Maintaining her cover she quickly moved to the beat before flicking her wrist as three small needles left her hand and found their way to the neck of her targets. The three men fell instantly causing no one to bat an eye except the small group with guns.
She kept moving and no one looked at her as they searched. Her dark black hair flew around her as she spun. She caught the eyes of an archer as he steadied his bow line his arrow with the back of her head. He tilted his head to confirm his target and shot. Without hesitation Cynthia turned round housing the arrow and landing it in one of the guards.
This created an uproar as the crowd began to scream and three more arrows would be heading her way. She readied herself in a horse stance before knocking the arrows into the last remaining of the guard on the floor. Then she looked up and stared the archer in the eyes. They exchanged a look and their lips curled the same. She ran her fingers through her hair pulling the wig off as she no longer needed it and waited for him to come down.
"Clint." She sighed as he jumped down and was ready as always to shoot. She noticed the change in his eyes and tilted her head as she evaluated the situation.
"Cyn." He greeted. Usually about now is when her big brother would lecture her, but seeing his demeanor she knew that wasn't going to happen. Both siblings shot their shot as bullets began to fly.
Cynthia held up her hands creating a light purple force field as Clint began to shoot from behind it. When they handled everyone there she walked over to him now knowing something was wrong.
"I need your compound." He said.
"No go. Your team has been moderating it since the Tokyo incident." She stated as he held a tablet up to her with a list of things needed.
"I left SHIELD." He said. She hummed. "I need a place with all this in it."
"I can take you to my house." She stated. "It'll have all the basics here and the rest will be easy to get."
"Off radar?"
"Do I have anything that's not?" Her smirk seemed to reach her eyes. He smiled. "And Nat?"
His eyes dropped for a second, but he didn't answer. A piece of him was screaming for her to help him, but as he was staring at her hoping she would get it he walked in. She was busy on the tablet looking at everything when she whipped around purple ball in both hands at the same time she stopped he did. His spectator almost touching her stopped an inch away from her face.
Both of them had puzzles looks on their face as Clint just stood there. Cynthia went to say something to the man in the tux, but words were escaping her. Loki pulled the spectator away from her and to his side.
"Barton." He said looking at Clint now. "I thought you said you know a guy."
"I'm the guy." She shrugged. "What do you need?"
Clint walked over to her with a tablet like device it was clear glass a tool from S.H.I.E.L.D. with its GPS locator deactivated. She looked at the structure.
"Is your warehouse still available for us?" He asked her.
"No, Fury found it." She sighed. "But you can use my house. On one condition that is. I want in."
"No." They both said at the same time. A part of the real Clint showed here.
"Then no go." She stated and started walking away. Loki went to touch her with his Spector, but she grabbed it. The blue pulsated in her veins, but stopped at her hands. "I don't do well with mind control. It's already chaotic up here." She pointed to her temple.
Loki's face changed he held back a smirk and tried not to look pleased at her. "Fine. But you better be useful."
She tsked as she traced a circle with her finger a purple light followed her finger as a portal opened up. She made a simple after you gesture. Clint didn't hesitate, he walked straight through. Loki however stopped. His smirk matched her, but he was curious as to what exactly she was and who she was.
"You look like you have questions." She stated. He pursed his lips.
"And what exactly are you?"
"It's more fun if you guess." She smirked. His lips curled now he liked games. He now walked through her portal and she followed him.
"One problem. We have a ship." Loki said as if he outsmarted her.
"That one?" She asked as out of nowhere his ship was at their location. She gave him a wink as she twisted her wrist. A purple wave washed out and the barren land now bare a mansion. "Sorry bro only way I could keep it off your radar."
Clint now gave her a smile as Loki pieced what she said together. He went to say something, but as he did his questions were answered. Right as you walked inside of her house a family portrait of the two. Cynthia was off to the side of the photo like she was unwanted and that raised more questions for him. Then there was a better one with Clint and her back to back. They were older and the mischievous was all over her face.
"You're siblings." Loki said.
"Did our charming looks give it away?" She asked with a smirk. Clint had already made himself at home setting up. "Hey animals go in the basement."
Clint didn't hesitate as an arrow launched her way she touched it now turning it to ash. "You have to be quicker." She stated as she stood up on her couch pulling a rug down to reveal a door. "Everything you may need is in there. Anything else you'll have to ask. Nicely."
"Is that?" Clint asked pointed to the wall.
"The location of Furry. Yeah after his break in to my Ireland house I keep tabs on his location. Though that is not actually him." She sighed. She touched the dot and a cat came on the screen. "He catches on quick. Furry right now is here."
She showed him a map, "Hydra members are on the barge with him. I can tap into them much quicker."
"How many?" He asked this was the real him on the surface.
"On that barge I know of at least one." She stated. "In S.H.I.E.L.D. as a whole. A lot." She crossed her arms at the same time he did.
"Never could sniff them out like that." He seemed disappointed.
"Meh I cheat." She shrugged trying to make him feel better. She turned to Loki now. "So the space stone. Last I knew that was in Orin's treasure room. So what is the son of Odin doing with it on Earth?"
He again was confused by her words. He knew what it truly was as well, but that even escaped his brother.
"I naturally have the power of intuitive aptitude. Then an Elder God by the name of Chthon added to those." She said as she swirled a purple orb. She could still feel his presence in her brain. She often referred to him as a disease. "He enhanced my abilities."
She could hear the Ancient One in the back of her head telling her he didn't make her. She was the only thing that saved her. She clenched her teeth as she relived the pain of his power. Her brother. Her real brother usually comforted her by now, but he wasn't in the room. As much as she wanted to be angry at Loki for it she couldn't. Nor could she understand why.
