The girl sat in the corner of the room. Disturbed by what she have read. She stared at the floor with her eyes wide open. Her left arm started to glow, but she didn’t seem to notice. It then hit her like lightning, overwhelmed by the pain, she was now convulsed on the ground. The screams that her soul would have called didn’t leave her sealed lips. They just crawled into her body. The pain bored deep into her arm up to her fingertips until it was suddenly still.

Drip, drip,
It was dripping red.
The red drops slid down her pale arm towards the earth. The seal was set to be seen on her pale, almost white skin. The girl soon came to herself and seemed visibly confused. Panicked, she straightened up and looked around to find a clue of where she was. Her gaze then fell on the back of her hand, and saw how bloodied it was. She was terrified and fell to the ground once again. There was a kind of symbol - a circle with writings and unknown characters, carved into her skin. She raised her hand, stroked it carefully, winced violently and noticed in retrospect that the pain wasn’t where the wound is - as usual, but further away, outside of her body. She looked around again. Nothing, nothing but pure blackness. The adrenaline was already closed through her body and she dared to move. With her hand pressed tightly to her chest, she stood up.

The cool air brushed her leg, which made her startle and twitch. A wall caught her when she was threathened to stumble. Sorted, she stood up on her feet again, tied up. She couldn’t and wouldn’t move. And again she felt this distant pain and collapsed.

Her body started to warm up, as she was apparently about to wake up. Little by little she opened her eyes, only to see how enveloped in a fine velvet smoke she is. Still being in an eternal nothing, she didn’t seem so scared this time. Nevertheless she moved cautiously, feeling dry earth in her hand. She grabbed a handful and let it melt between her fingers. She raised her gaze up and could still only see blackness. Deprived of air, her breath caught and felt a dark hand slide in front of her eyes. Shivering, she raised a hand and reached out to touch the hand in front of her eyes.  Instinctively she pulled her hand away, once she realized it was freezing. She had to swallow, taking her hand away from her eyes, before she got blinded by bright light. With narrowed eyes, she blinked more often and little by little her eyes got used to the brightness, before she got to see a landscape that seemed strange and frightening to her.
