as you walked down the main road of monstadt, you could see the popular bard strumming his lyre. sure, he did steal your heart, but his songs were telling stories of old, stories that weren't written in books. it confused you, sure he was just singing just like a bard usually does, but it was odd. how would he know about these stories? were they passed down from generation to generation in his family? were there any survivors that ran through his generation? then again, those stories were true occurrences that took place thousands of years ago. so really, how would he know?

you stared at the bard as he continued singing to the smaller children of monstadt. his eyes were shut as his black to blue hair danced with the soft warm breeze of monstadt. inhaling the warm air, you make your way towards the bard, slightly bouncing up and down as you stepped down each step. you couldn't help but stare at the ground, trying to not look at the bard as he strummed his lyre.

you could practically feel his eyes staring at you as you walked down the last step. was it a blessing from barbatos, or was his stare the worst thing that could happen to you? who knows? but his stare couldn't help but bring a smile towards your face. as you grabbed an apple from an apple tree, you unconsciously grab another. perhaps you could give the other apple to the bard, as he surely enjoyed apples. and so you watched him play his lyre, waiting for an opportunity to give him the apple.

after sitting on the grass waiting for the bard to finish his songs, you see him approach you. the crowd of children had finally dispersed, the sun was now long gone as the moon shimmered in the sky along with the beautiful, welcoming stars.

"a bard like i attract many people, however, you don't seem too gleeful." the bard chuckled, sitting to the left of you.

"my, my, dear bard, would you like an apple, after all, this isn't the city of shackle."

"you're fit for a bard, i must say. and i'll gladly take that apple princess of mine."

'this sneaky little shit-'

"i'm ve-"

"you have no name to me, mr. lyre boy." you smirked facing him as his eyes widen in shock.
