Soobin grabbed all the papers he had written of the course of 6 weeks. He stapled all 42 pages together and placed them in a bag. "Soobin! Come on! We don't want to be late!" His mother yelled. He sighed and swung the backpack over his shoulder before running downstairs.
"Listen buddy, I know this is hard for you." His father said, trying to comfort Soobin as they got into the car. "It's not like you lost your bestfriend dad." Soobin said harshly. "Stop being a teenage girl Soobin! You're acting like me on my period." His mother snapped back at him.
"Calm down sweetie." His dad calmed her. He is the only reason why Soobin is allowed to go to the funeral. His mother told Soobin that he wouldn't be allowed to go since he had such an attitude now. What monster doesn't allow their own son to go to his bestfriends funeral.
They finally arrived at the funeral home. Soobin choked back his tears and got out of the car. He went inside the building with his parents. Soobin excused himself to the bathroom. He didn't go to the bathroom though. He went out the back door and walked over to the beach.
He looked over to the boardwalk with tears spilling out of his eyes. Was he really gonna do this? Soobin held onto his backpack tightly and stated walking to the boardwalk slowly. He finally arrived to the end of the boardwalk. He looked over to sparkling water. The autumn breeze trickled through his hair.
He was now sitting on the small fence with the papers in his hand. Somebody came up to him. "Sir what are you doing?" She asked. He ignored her and threw his backpack off the boardwalk. Holding the paper close to his body, he pushed himself off. As soon as he hit the water everything went black.
