Draco's POV( after feast)
The heads took their assigned students to there dormitories were the schoolmates would share.
When the great hall was empty only consisting of my friends,Mcgonagall, and granger and her gang. With looney lovegood.
"Hello my children, I'm going to take you to your common room now." Mcgonagall spoke.
We all stood following her up, joining in a little group.
But then... I smelt it.
Vanilla.
I looked at Blaise, he looked just as much traumatized as I was feeling.
I didn't smell vanilla around pansy or Astoria... it had to be granger or Weasley.
I moved to were I was now behind granger. I leaned in and took a quick whiff of her hair....-v-vanilla.
Hermione granger is my mate.
I looked at Blaise who was staring at me. I nodded, he gulped.. ha! His mate was the firecracker.
Just then Mcgonagall stopped causing me to bump Into her back, my chest, hitting her shoulder blades.
She turned around and step forward a bit when she saw me.
"I didn't mean to." I stated hesitantly.
"Right, because you wouldn't dare bump into a muggle- born." She said like it was a fact.
I was speechless, I just frowned and looked away."Alright, here we are. The boys bedroom is down the hall to the right and the girls on the left. Password is 'unity'."
With that Mcgonagall walked away.
What I didn't realize was that the portrait was filled with the founders of hogwarts.
Hello, my lovelies. Password?" Helga asked.
"Unity." Adrian spoke.
"Have a lovely night." Rowena smiled sitting in between Salazar and godric.
We were immediately greeted by the warmth of the fireplace.
Concrete floors, black and gold accents. Two cream colored couches , with four black arm chairs.
A small kitchenette in the far corner, a book shelf and a small normal sized kitchen table with our timetables and books on it.
"Looks great." Astoria commented.
"Mhm." Hermione muttered in response."
" have a headache, g'night." I say as I walk to the dorm.
I walk in paying no attention to the room. I changed into a baggie hoodie with plaid, green pants."
I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
