Lucifer looked out the window. Another boring day.. He thought to hisself. It was a rainy day, the sky was a dark gray and the ground appeared flooded. "Lucifer! Come downstairs immediately!" His mother called. He sighed and muttered, "Maybe she won't be as harsh today.." Lucifer went downstairs, his purple hair messy. "Lucifer, I need you to-" "My word! Why didn't you get dressed?!" Lucifer stood frozen for a moment. "I-I'm sorry.. please don't make me do extra work, I'll go get dressed.." The angry mother threw a knife past his head. "You mistake! You can't even get dressed. Despicable. I'm giving you 5 minutes." His mother called after him, as he ran up the steps.

He was dressed soon enough and returned to his mother. "Finally. I need you to clean up this entire house, we are having some guests. Do you remember the routine?" Lucifer nodded, and replied. "If I do all my chores well, I'll get to eat.." The woman smiled. Not a pleasant smile just... a smile.

Hours later he had finished his chores. He sat in his room and played with his doll, Bun Bun. "You know.. if someone cared about me I would have a reason to be around.. but nobody does." Lucifer stroked Bun Bun's fur. "I could end it all and it wouldn't matter." He stopped playing with the doll. "But I can't let her win." The doll stared at him with it's lifeless glass eyes. "If I die.. I'm letting her have power over me. Which she does, but I can't let her see that." He listened to the chatter downstairs.

"Did you hear about that person who went to jail?"
"Yeah, that child sadist."
"I heard two of the things died."
"Ugh, good. That helps society."

Lucifer listened to the laughter. Two kids died.. and they were okay with it..? He questioned their morals. I already hate them. Lucifer thought. He lie down, and went to sleep.

Tomorrow is another day.
