Can't Be Together

Chapter 2: Problems

Marinette and Adrien detransform in their room.
"Why did HawkMoth retrieve the akuma?" Asked Marinette confused. "I don't know" said Tikki. After a few minutes, Adrien knocks on Marinette's trapdoor. "Marinette?" Said Adrien. "Just a sec!" Said Marinette "Tikki hide!". "You can come in now" Said Marinette. "So, I was wondering if you wanna-" Said Adrien. "Who's calling you?" Asked Marinette. "It's my father" Said Adrien in a not so happy voice. Adrien picks up the call. "Yes, Father?" Said Adrien. "Adrien, I want you to stop hanging out with Miss Marinette Dupain Cheng" Said Gabriel in a serious voice. "But, Father-" Said Adrien. "There will be no hesitation, stop hanging out or you will not go to school forever" Said Gabriel. "Okay" said Adrien sadly. Marinette overheard their conversation. "Marinette, there's something I wanna tell you" Said Adrien not so happy. "I already know what it is" Said Marinette not so happy. "Look, Marinette. I'm so sorry, it's just my father he is.." Said Adrien. Marinette runs away. "Marinette, wait!" Said Adrien sadly. "Marinette, where are you going?" Asked Tikki worried. "I'm going to Gabriel Agreste's house" Said Marinette. A bus appeared in front of her, Marinette gets in the bus, while Adrien was catching up to her. "Marinette!" Screamed Adrien. Marinette looks back at Adrien and winks. "To Mr. Agreste's house, please" Said Marinette. It starts raining, Adrien is cold outside, he went home. After he arrived at home, he saw Marinette and Adrien's dad talking to eachother but they were mad. "Marinette, Father. What's going on?" Said Adrien. "We're arguing" Said Marinette and Gabriel. I "forbid you to hang out with him" Said Gabriel. "Father, Why can't we be together?" Asked Adrien sadly. "Silence!" Screamed Gabriel. Adrien ran up to his room. "Adrien!" Screamed Marinette.
A few moments later Marinette wanted to check on Adrien but she saw an Akuma! Marinette immediately runs to Adrien's room. "Adrien, watch out!" Screamed Marinette. Marinette grabbed the item that the Akuma was trying to possess but instead they both got Akumatized.
"Problemizer, I am Hawkmoth and all you need to do is-" Said HawkMoth. Marinette and Adrien we're about to hand HawkMoth their Miraculouses but something happened. His powers suddenly shut down! The Akuma escaped. "What happened?!" Screamed Hawkmoth. "We can't be together!" Said Marinette sadly. "Why?" Asked Adrien sadly. "Our love only causes problems" Said Marinette sadly. Marinette storms back to her home. "Marinette!" Screamed Adrien sadly.
