Team RWBY sat in their dorm contemplating what happened the night before watching their best friend Steve Griffin die.

-FLASHBACK, Fall of Beacon-

Ruby: YANG, BLAKE! BUMBLEBEE

Team RWBY were currently fighting against Roman Torchwick and Adam Taurus with Team JNPR, Sun, Neptune and Steve Griffin who is a one man team. Steve was 5' 11", has white hair and fox ears, a red and black sword and has an athletic build which ladies adored. Steve was fighting Adam with Blake while the rest were fighting Roman. As Steve clashed sword with the red devil, he started to break...

Steve: (Falling to his knees while clashing swords) AGHHHH

Adam: Ha! You think you could defeat me?

He kicks Steve across the floor while Blake froze seeing this when she ran at Adam when suddenly he reversed her attack and threw her against the wall when she watches Steve in pain

Adam: This is where you die...

Steve: (Laughs) Mother fucker.... I always come back! I'll find you Adam and when I d-

Adam then stabs him through the heart and double taps his head

Adam: mhm... talk too much

Blake: (Strained) Y-you'll never get away with this Adam!

Adam: (chuckles) Oh sweet kitty, I already have. Trust me Blake, when you realize why I did this.. You'll come back to me... (laughs evilly)

He suddenly vanishes as Blake goes to Steve's side begging for him to wake up.... But he never did

-End of Flashback-

Blake started to tear up reliving the moments from the night before when..

*knock knock*

Ruby got up and answered the door to find Sun

Ruby: Oh hey Sun! What are you doing here?

Sun: (Nervously) I-I was wondering if B-Blake was h-here.

Ruby: O-Oh... she's not actually in the mood to talk... sorry..

Sun: A-Actually, it's about Steve

Blake: (rushing to the door quickly) What?!?! What about him?!

Sun hands her a piece of paper that was found in his room when she starts reading it

Dear Blake,

I hope you find this at some point, if you do I have either died or fell asleep reading.... Again. But the point of this letter id to tell you that I love you. I have from the first moment I met you in that ballroom. When I gave you my favorite book and you read it 27 times cover to cover. But I could never tell you because I was too scared to be rejected by my best friend, but if I die? Never forget about me, please keep me in your heart and wear that same smile I fell in love with... Blake fell to her knees in tears when she notice a thumb drive and a necklace fall out of the envelope. She goes to her computer and put the thumb drive in when what she saw broke her
