Mingyu's POV
"Mina-ya?"
"Mina?"
I sighed as I saw the food I gave her last night, barely touched or moved. She didn't eat anything again. She missed the class again and she never came out of the house.
It's been a week since Eomma's burial. It all came as a surprise because we all thought that she was recovering but turns out, the cancer was spreading so fast and we couldn't help her right away. Mina was caught off guard that day and wasn't even prepared.
How could a sixteen-year-old girl prepare a burial for her own Mother alone?
I know it was hard for Mina, she didn't talk to anyone at the funeral, she was always crying silently and after that, she will fall asleep. I didn't want to add the burden so I don't talk to her that much as a sign of respect but I take care of her every day here in their house.
My parents allowed me to stay with Mina for nights if she needed me. I cook for her or show her the assignments that we need to do, I basically do everything for her because she always stays in her room after the burial.
I know have to be stronger for Mina. I made a promise to Eomma that I will take care of and protect her. I can't let her cry and break her. That is my promise to her mother and I can never break that. I understand why Eomma trusted me with that because I know to myself hurting Mina will be the last thing I will ever do in my life. I will never hurt Mina.
I placed my bag on the sofa and I started to clean the rotten food. I knew I should've come here this morning so that I can clean this food.
For 15 minutes, I clean in silence, I even prepared the ingredients that I will use later. While I was cleaning I heard a large noise in her room.
"Mina?"
I quickly wiped my wet hands on my school uniform and run upstairs to see her.
"Mina" I called her out as I opened the door of her room.
My eyes went big as I saw her lying down on the floor.
"Mina? Mina-ya!" I immediately hold her. She is so pale and she felt so light.
"Yaaa!" I screamed at her, trying to wake her up but no response.
I carried her.

"This is a case of dehydration," the Doctor told me "Maybe she hadn't eaten properly or drinking properly for past weeks. She needs to stay in the hospital for a few days so that we can monitor her fluids and also her blood because she actually has a low blood"
Oh, it is really because she is not touching her food.
"Maybe she already started vomiting and getting dizzy for the past days?" the Doctor asked.
I shake my head a bit for an answer.
"Maybe she didn't tell you, you are her?"
"Chinggu," I answered "Her Eomma recently died, she's griefing"
The Doctor nodded "If she wants she can undergo counseling for her to feel better. As soon as she wakes up, give her food and healthy drinks. She needs to catch up with all the nutrients she loses and she needs. I hope there is a non-minor guardian for her here"
I nodded "There will be, I will ask my Mother"
She nodded and the Doctor left.
I came closer to Mina as she is still sleeping.
