Its been an year
Locked down at home all alone
My past now seems like a dream
There were days
when I went to the college with my friends ,
When we shared our lunch and ate 7 to 8 dishes a day.
There were times
when we sneaked around the college corridors during classes ,
And getting caught by our lectures felt scary.
But those days now seems to be more fun
There were times
When 7 to 8 of us shared a single icecream ,
Because we didn't have enough to afford more.
There were times
When we sat in front of the library ,
And commented over every single person who passes by.
There were times
When we laughed at the silliest jokes
And fought for no reason at all and cried together.
All Those Good Old Days
Now bring a smile on my face
Life goes on
But nothing like yesterday
Sitting by the window
And never felt that counting stars would be this fun
And when i fell asleep looking into sky
Hoping to wake up just like yesterday
And get back to my good old days.
