George:

The box broke open and the bludgers shot out of the box and straight up into the air that had become littered with rain drops. The Slytherin team were jumpy, nervous. The snitch popped out the box and circled Malfoy whose blonde hair was plastered to his head and then flew towards Harry. Harry's eyes darted around as the snitch disappeared into the rain. "ON YOUR MARK. GO" Madame Hooch launched into the air and we were off. I covered our attacking end of the field, keeping a close eye on both Alicia and Angelina who were awiting Katie who was at that point fighting off the Slytherin captain Graham Warrington, they were playing dirty, which never ended well for anyone. Katie cam speeding up on the left side with Warrington and Pucey on her tail. She hurled the Quaffle towards Angelina who quickly and efficiently had it past their keeper, Bletchly, before he could even blink. I spotted Harry out of the corner of my eye hovering above the teachers stand keeping a careful eye on everything. Then I heard the hum of my old friend. The bludger. I sped towards Katie who had returned to her position in the middle of the field. The round brown ball was headed right for her.

"Katie! Duck!" I yelled. She ducked and flew underneath me and my bat made full impact with the bludger, I sent it straight for Pucey was marking Katie to my right. He ducked quickly but not quick enough to avoid flying straight into Malfoy. The two collided in a pile of silver and green. Suddenly Warrington was up the other end and had gotten the Quaffle past Ron.

We worked hard for the next thirty minutes and we were behind by thirty points. Harry had come close to the snitch twice but no such luck. I already had a bleeding nose thanks to Goyle who had forgotten that the bat was for the bludger and not the other beaters. It had been a tough and rough game. Slytherin weren't letting up. We were all covered in bruises, I was surprised no one had broken a bone. Harry whizzed past me fast as lighting. Malfoy spotted him and sped after him. Harry raised his hand in celebration hooting and hollering. The crowd went mad. "GRYFFINDOR WINNNNNN" Lee yelled from the commentary box. Next thing a bludger went whizzing past my head towards Harry. Crabbe had a hit a beauty, but it was headed straight for Harry. I hit off after it, knowing that Fred was coming from the other side. But we weren't quick enough. It hit Harry full pelt in the stomach sending him and his broom careening towards the sand beneath the Slytherin goal posts. We all hit the ground running, forgetting about our brooms. Angelina got the Harry first.

"I'm good" he groaned from the floor "just winded".

"Sorry Harry" Fred said.

"We weren't fast enough" I shook my head looking at Potter whose face was as white as snow.

"It's all good guys, it was past the whistle anyway" he laid back taking a few deep breaths. Ginny appeared beside me her broom at her side.

"Are you okay?" she exclaimed.

"yeah, he's good" Angelina said helping him sit up "I don't think we have any broken ribs, so he'll just be hurting tomorrow"

"the whistle had gone" Ginny turned to Hooch "That's a penalty"

"I'm inclined to agree Ms. Weasley" Hooch said blowing her whistle calling all remaining players in the air to the ground. The Slytherin team were bursting themselves laughing at Harry. "Slytherin, that was a clear violation, I should be side-lining your beater". Hooch gave out her penalty, banning Crabbe for two games. Harry got to his feet and walked between myself and Fred. Ginny was up ahead helping Katie who most certainly had a touch of exhaustion, she looked like she was going to drop at any second. It had been a tough match on all of us.

"say Potter? Need a new pair of glasses?" Malfoy jeered with the rest of his ilk beside him.

"Leave it out Malfoy" Angelina spat pushing the three of us on.

"You like our song?" Malfoy asked. Ron walked off quickly, avoiding getting into an argument. "would have been nice to pop something in about your blood traitor parents, shame we didn't have the time". I saw red. I couldn't clear my head. I launched for Malfoy. Harry grabbed me tightly holding me back. I heard a shuffle behind us, Fred was being held back by both Angelina, Alicia, Jack and Andrew.

"Fred he's not worth it" Jack said standing in front of him.

"although Potter" Malfoy continued "You probably wouldn't realise how disgusting the hole the Weasley's live in is, your mother's house probably smelt just the same". Harry jumped at Malfoy and tackled him to the ground. I wasn't far behind him. I could hear Fred yelling being dragged away by the rest of our team. I hot Malfoy a good one and red spilled out across his ashen skin.

"ENOUGH!" Madame Pomfrey screamed. The stadium fell silent. "Professor McGonagall's office. Now!"
