Tyler's p.o.v (the wolf is Chases wolf form)

I ran out into the woods without looking back, I used my witch blood speed to go faster, I was so quick when I wanted to be. I ran through the trees and jumped over broken down trees and branches, I just laughed not because anything was funny but because I was enjoying myself. I ran deeper and faster into the forest. I kept laughing as I jumped from tree to tree. The birds flew out of the trees, I had been running for a while and i hadn't even broken a sweat. I took sharp turns, and made trees grow from time to time if they looked dead. But when I finally saw the grave coming into view I slowed down, and came to a complete halt infront of it. I dropped to my knees and stared at the writing on the hedge stone.

"A loved mother, wife, and friend"

I was happy for a moment, she had been gone four years.. She died when I was 12. My heart still clenched though. I felt a tear even fall down my cheek.

"I'm starting school tomorrow mom.. And dads finally getting a job" I smiled

I was baisically talking to air. But it felt good.

"I'm sixteen now.. And I still miss you, dad says to tell you he loves you.. Not that he'd have to tell you." I laughed unhumorlessly.

I sat there, until I heard something crack, I turned around abruptly to see what had made the noise, but I saw nothing. I zoomed my vision in, and saw something, it was a bit of a distance away, something big, like huge and black. A wolf mabey. It was snarling at the ground its huge long teeth showing brightly. As if it all of a sudden knew I saw it, it's ears stuck up an it moved its nose to the air, and then looked at me, it turned its body to face me. And snarled, it stood up straight as if trying to scare me. I just stuck my tounge out at it and laughed, I was a witch this thing couldn't hurt me if its life depended on it. It looked at me curiously. And I stood up and put my hands on my hips, and raise an eyebrow at him. I think it was a him. I turned back to my moms grave and touched my finger tips to the top of the hedge stone.

"Sorry mom."

When I went to turn back around the wolf was right infront of me. Holly crows he was fast, he was snarling and huffing.

"You don't scare me, but I'll play along I could use some fun." I said laughing

The wolf just stood up straight and stopped snarling, I could tell he was confused.

"Let's play tag, your it." I said and before I turned to run, I made sure my eyes flashed gold at him. I don't know why, but it was instinct. The minute I did it was like it set him off, he bared his teeth, and the game was on.
