Hurtling into the void of space. Surely to die. Alone. An astronaut's moonshot is abruptly ended in a terrible accident. He may have given up, but does the same apply to those on Earth?
Over a thousand years in the future, an epic tour of the solar system nears completion. A manned landing on Pluto marks the end of the historic interplanetary mission. On a cold, dead world, everything should be peaceful and static. However, if there is anything science has taught us, it is to expect the unexpected.
