23days Stories

I like to write. As you may be able to tell. I haven't been very good at writing lately. As you may also have been able to tell. That's why I've decided to write a short story collection. The stories won't interlink, some may vary wildly and you might even wonder if they were written by the same person (the answer is yes). Overall, I'm aiming to write 23 stories, which was one per day for 23 days but I failed at that (*seethes* college work...) so now I'm just aiming to finish it before winter is over! The stories won't be very long - I'm only allowed to write for 10 minutes per story, just to get me going again (and literally warm my fingers, I get really really cold fingers for some reason) and the most I've ever written in that time is around 500 words. On October 1st, 2568 the world crumbled around Wren Picot as her childhood home and places she had known all her life blew up around her with the people she knew and loved inside of them. She thought it was over after four long, excruciating hours only for a voice to play across the nation. The world was ending and she and her four best friends were the only ones alive, or so they thought. The clock was ticking and they would have 23 days to make it to a ship so they wouldn't end with earth.
