May 4, 1975. A single mother by the name of Beyonce Knowles has a son named Tyrone. For the pass 6 years, Miss Knowles has been by herself since she left her husband. Shawn Carter. He was abusive towards her. Once it was the day after Christmas, she left. After 6 years. She hasn't heard or seen him. Ever since she moved to Louisiana to live with her sister, Solange. Yet to help with the bills and her sister, she strips at a club at night and works at a Diner by day. For the pass 6 years, this has been her living. Yet soon these 2 cross paths.
