Fed up with stories about the alpha and his mate? Well, this story isn't about love. It's about friendship, battle, borrowing and adventure. The Equinox Pack - governed by Alpha Ultar and his faithful beta, Reece - lives in the deep forest, which has waterfalls, caves and an ancient underground temple. Winter is a power-crazed wereleopard that wants Ultar's territory. And he's willing to make an alliance with the Aves to achieve it. But they aren't the protagonists of this story. Oliver, a lowly Kappa (an ordinary pack member) has an unlikely bond with Leila, Queen of the Archer Warriors - who were called upon to help Ultar's pack. Together, Queen Leila and her Paint Horse, Posudio (meaning 'borrowed' in Croatian), and Oliver battle to ensure the Equinox Pack's future.

Erin grew up with a group of archers. She considered them her family, because she had none. They had always helped her with controling her powers over the wind and skies. There was joy in her life but she felt as if there was more she could do. Erin had always been free, until one day. When all of her freedom would be lost.
