Aftersunset Stories

It is a story of a young man, who suffers from nyctophobia, which crept into him after experiencing a traumatic incident that occurred in his past. He feels embarrassed to accept it, hence tries to hide it from everybody around. However, the issue comes into light when he falls for a girl.

Nina feels abandoned by Helen, so she chooses to go back to her old village with their little son Jonathan, facing a dangerous world because of a zombie epidemic. When Helen comes back home, she realizes her family is not there anymore and immediately goes to look for them...

Told in hauntingly beautiful verse from both her and his point of view, this poetry collection is a lyrical love story set entirely in the hours between dusk and dawn. Created by me and fellow poet & writer @KallolDutta0, we wanted to capture this unforgettable love story in poetry form. Each poem captures a fleeting, glowing moment-when a glance sparks gravity, when hands brush like whispers, when love is soft, wild, electric, and aching. As night deepens, so does their bond. From first looks to heart-stopping silences, from euphoria to heartbreak, and all the breathless pauses in between, this book is a stargazed tribute to the kind of love that only lives after sunset.
