Summary "Run if you want but your fate has been sealed." Skyler wants to be an ordinary girl just like everyone else. But a dark secret haunts her, making her dread loneliness. When she is left to her thoughts, she remembers her unknown roots. Hiding the secret of her parents disappearance from her friends is easier said than done. It doesn't help that Jason is too flirty to give her personal space. One day everything changes And she is forced to seek help from her obnoxious childhood friend. Mysterious things begin happening as one by one people disappear. With a new ability, Skyler predicts news stories before they happen. Friends begin to turn on each other. On top of that all, accusations get thrown around until no one can be trusted. The fate of the world rests on the teenagers' shoulders and not one can control their destiny. She sighed. "Secrets... more secrets. Haven't I had enough encounters with those..." she glanced around the cafeteria, and guilt gripped her. What could she do? What could anyone do when they were being hunted like mice?
