The Romans were spreading their empire across the planet, every land they tried to take the humans lost. Humans were sick of being treated barbarically, from crucifixions to other forms of vicious murders, the people had enough. The people outside the empire called upon their gods, to which their prayers were answered. The gods sent them powerful beings, beings the Romans had never encountered before.
