Historias de Antagonist-turned-protagonist

Every story has a a protagonist and every protagonist has an antagonist. While heroes accumulate achievements and favorable reputations for their good deeds, what of the villains? The same, only the opposite. In many scenarios, death. Midnight happened to be the antagonist in his world; the supreme villain who will bring nothing but the end of peace and harmony. That his role, his ONLY role. However, thanks to the numerous loops Midnight kept living, he grew tired of this role. It was time he took a different role, a different life, a different fate. A more quiet and peaceful one if anything. Maybe by then, he'd stop dying and the world will stop ending.
