Matt and his best friend Kate have grown up next door to each other. Practically brother and sister they know each other better than anyone. So it's obvious to Matt when Kate starts acting differently, she never sleeps anymore and the bags under her eyes reflect this, she's skinny, hollow and a shadow of her former bubbly self. He embarks on a personal journey to help her, but slowly, Kate just pushes everyone else away. Matt fights for her, but after he discovers a dreadful secret that literally ruins lives, he is more determined than ever to make sure she is okay.
