Arya isn't like what her parents thought she would be. She was "cursed" by the gods and feared for what she was. Her parents sold her and she ended up in Essos across the Narrow Sea to be found by Someone she could call father. Even when he knew what she was. But now he's dead and she has to become the Khal he forged her to be.
