[Hiatus!] Kouha has done a lot to get to where she is now. Like her mother, Kouha's arms grow scarred with the cost of her powers. Like her father, her body grows rough and sturdy in order to protect and hunt for her family. Like her late grandmother, she grows up fast and carries the responsibilities of the Hisamaru curse. But Kouha has failed her family's teachings. Her parents and younger sisters are slaughtered before she could even suck in a breath to scream. Half of her village is destroyed, people and buildings alike burn before her eyes. Even Kouha is almost killed. Then, Oyakata and Gyoumei step into the ruins of her life. Now she uses her powers not for assisting the dead, but for battle. She trains to use her body for sword wielding, the feeling of corrupted flesh wrending under her blade leaving her satisfied and anguished. The spirits she once intended to send on their way now help her end their creators. Kouha is strong now. She needs to be, if she is to change the tide of a war she never even knew existed. ===== Me, putting Kouha and Misturi pokemon cards on the table and tapping the mic: Hello LGBTQ+ community :] Anyways, the first handful of chapters are only set up, so once everything catches up with where canon starts, I'll mark it down here so you can skip ahead if you want! I WILL be introducing background/side character OCs for the sake of plot! Also, this is a slow burn! A real slow burn that will hopefully build characters before relationships!
