Leo and Marnie Rosewood live in a world where humans and spirits are separated into two dimensions. The Human World, Terra and The Spirit World, Maxime. Generations ago, the border between the Terra and Maxime broke. The Spirits took over and were ready to form a dictatorship in the Terra. Despite humanity's quick save from this takeover, the two dimensions still are at feud, with the Border being as thin as ever. Leo and Marnie are stuck between the feud, in which they need to decide; which side is right? Which side has the pure intentions? Stuck between their own desires and what is right, Leo and Marnie will have to journey through both dimensions, in which they need to do the hardest thing they will ever need to do; chose between what's right and what's simpler.

Earth's two dimensions are now at war, with Leo and Marnie Rosewood right in the middle of it. The Spirits of Maxime are getting more and more aggressive, causing bigger problems for the Terra's humans and Amulans. While Leo and Marnie, along with Jesse, Isa, and Hazel, are fighting to keep their dimension safe, the government and many other humans are refusing to believe the Amulans about the Spirits starting war. Ever since the first war between the dimensions, the Maxime Invasion, humans don't want to believe that the Spirits have actually returned. Now, with the humans being more and more uncooperative, things go to the extreme when the ruler of Maxime enters the picture. Soon, Leo, along with his friends are no longer sure of what chances they have with winning the war. Both worlds are slowly getting more and more dangerous.
