Baronet Stories

Baronet Beresford Annesely is a man of character, but his family title is worth little to him. With no great wealth, he is considered a rather lowly Baronet. As his sister's only living relation, he spends most of his time watching over her and neglects many of his own desires. However, perhaps the time has come for him to look into his own wishes more. Much more will occur to him than he ever thought possible and, perhaps, by the end he could end up better for it all. Although, it seems more likely that he will be worse for the experience.

The year is 1750. Angelica Clarke, eldest daughter of the 6th Earl of Rosswell, has fancied her brother's best friend Peter Langham since she was a girl. However, his four year disappearance made his feelings on the matter painfully clear--or so she thought. Much to her dismay, Peter's return brings back feelings she thought she had finally conquered. Is it possible he could actually love her back? And, more importantly, can she trust him with her heart?
