An alternate history epic set in the Sultanate of Malacca at its most precarious height, right after its clash with the Portuguese fleet of Alfonso de Albuquerque. Now, not too long after Albuquerque and his ships lie dormant in the depths of the Indian Ocean, the kingdom looks beyond its own borders, trying to secure a place in the larger world.
