The story revolves around a mother named Giselle, her daughter Alice, and Giselle's father Calvin. Giselle and her daughter live separately from Calvin and his wife after Giselle decided to start a new life on her own. Calvin visits Giselle and Alice, bringing gifts and expressing his love for them. Alice, curious about her biological father, asks Giselle about him. Giselle explains that they separated due to a mistake and reassures Alice that she will always be there for her. Meanwhile, Freddie, Giselle's former sweetheart, is seen reminiscing about their past and his mother expresses her desire to find Giselle and her child. The story ends with Giselle comforting Alice and providing her with prawn fritters to eat.

It's been 16 years since Tom's fateful decision. Tika is in the care of the Rebellion Base with her two favorite, awesome uncles. She grew up not knowing who her real parents are and her uncles were quick to change the topic every time she brought it up. Even the soldiers around the base knew but wouldn't tell her their names. They only spoke well about one of her parents while they seem annoyed with her other one. The only thing she looks forward to is the blue letters that are sent to the base from her mother. She learns a few things about the rest of her family through them, yet they don't give names. Tika knows she had two older brothers who she's been dying to meet too. She just wants to know more about her family She wants to see them She wants to hear her mother's voice again When she finally comes back to her family, she's in for an adventure.
