Sami's parents need time and space, to figure out their divorce. They send their 15-year-old daughter, Sami, across the country from LA, to Maryland to stay with her Aunt, Uncle, and their kids ( Andy and Alex ). But in Sami's new school, she doesn't fit in, and no one seems to like her because of her "New Girl" stereotype. Sami soon, starts a new club, the Bitter Sweet Girls Club where she could bond and become friends with girls in her new school.
