Tanner leaned across the table and spoke in a low voice, "When I first saw you, I knew there was something different about you."
"Oh? Would that be a good different or bad different?" She responded with a quirk of her left eyebrow. He didn't realize just how different different was. This man was about to drive her insane, but in a good way, and she had no idea.
"Definitely a good different," He said confidently. Alethea leaned back from across the table, crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes. He can't keep thinking that.
"Then you are a lot dumber than you look," She snarled. He was used to her outbreaks by now and just nodded.
"You keep saying that, but tell me why."
