They are then in charge of watching out for their creations and make sure that no one gets out of line. Being a Maker is an incredible responsibility so thankfully not any demonically possessed human can become one. So how did Kay? After exchanging her soul as a younger teenager now 19 year old Kay accepted the darkness into herself and never looked back. Placed into one of her Maker's main gangs inside the city she fits right in with her second family, The Kings, and embraces them all as her own. Everything was the way it had always been until one day her Maker, Cross, sent her out to kill another Maker who had tried to steal from him. While killing the enemy Maker she did something unheard of, she took over one of his scrolls. Now sent into a tailspin of power, corruption, and pain, Kay much fight with everything she is and more in order to keep her family safe and alive. Something darker than even her looms over them all threatening everything they know and love and The Kings don't take threats laying down.
