Mere hours after the destruction of the Federation Assault Fleet at the Battle of Chin'toka, the survivors of the USS Canberra make it back to Starbase 114 for a new assignment and a new mission--to counter the growing threat of the Dominion itself.

After Garak's many recent intense moments of claustrophobia he is often left alone with different caretakers until his condition improves. When it's Julien's turn to be on the watch for Garak's escapes he finds himself having to fill in as Garak's counselor. What starts as a game of Garak trying to avoid getting asked more information turns into a mutual understanding of sharing different truths about each other whether be about their culture or moments of their life they are not too keen on sharing. This is my first Gashir fanfiction so a lot getting used to the characters. Some personal cute headcanons throughout along with a very long and cute therapy session with each other. This takes place a little after season 7 episode 5. Please no spoilers beyond that point.
