After the tournament of power Kale became more clingy to Caulifla because she didn't want to lose her again, she hated the feeling when she got erased alongside Caulifla. But she was happy she went away with her. Now they are trying to train and get stronger to protect each other and the gang if you want to count them as "worth protecting" Kale has a huge crush on Caulifla but she is too shy to tell her how she really feels about her. Kale ends up running away because the gang members put too much pressure on her about Caulifla. Caulifla is now worried sick about Kale and goes out to look for her but couldn't find her anywhere.

This is when Kale discovers feelings for her best friend, Caulifla.
