My name is Alan Turing. I am 17 years old, and I go to the Sherborne school in Dorset, England. It's a boarding school for boys, just like me, though there is a thing which makes me different. I'm going to finish school next year and then I'm going to study in Kings College, Cambridge, on a scholarship. But this story isn't about me, it is more to process my feelings towards my dead friend, Christopher Morcom. (Happy 110 birthday to Alan Turing, he has done such great things in his sadly short life! My chest, always my bloody chest. It was so flat. Why couldn't it be curved? I hated it. It made me feel so uncomfortable. I really was tired of it. It was always the same, when I looked into the mirror. But was it normal to feel that way for man? I am writing this to show how it feels to be born in the wrong body. It truly is a terrible feeling. I had help of one my friends, Cedric, he is transgender (ftm), like me. He helped me with names too. And another friend, Sabine, corrected it after I wrote it. So yeah, thanks a lot.
